A number of changes
to the Companies Act come into play on the 1st
October 2009. One of the more significant changes
is to allow directors of limited companies to keep
their home address private and off public records
with the use of an alternative service address.

Prior to these change
the public register held by Companies House would
contain the Companies Registered Address along
side the residential address of each of the
companies officers including all directors and the
company secretary.
